Hunter Biden's ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle, is opening up about what their decades-long marriage was like in her new memoir. Kathleen covers nearly everything, from Hunter's drug addiction to the couple's financial problems to her ex-husband's affair with her sister-in-law.
Kathleen also recently sat down for an interview with ABC's Amy Robach.
Kathleen admits that she didn't know a lot about the pair's finances, explaining, "It's embarrassing to say that I ceded all financial control to my husband, and kept my head buried in the sand. I liked the nice things, and I didn't want to think about the cost at which they were coming."
Kathleen reveals that she found out about Hunter's affair with Hallie Biden from the family's therapist, who was told about the affair after one of Hunter and Kathleen's daughters read texts exchanged between Hallie and Hunter.
Kathleen chalks the exchange up to Hunter's ongoing internal battles. As she puts it, "I just didn't recognize him. And it's the addiction."
