LeBron James’ 15-Year-Old Son Receives First College Scholarship Offer To Play Basketball

Bryce James, the 15-year-old son of LeBron and Savannah James, has received his first scholarship offer for basketball. Bryce shared the news on Instagram, indicating that the offer came from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Bryce wrote, "Blessed to receive my first d1 offer from Duquesne #godukes."

The entire James family has ties to the school and its basketball program, which is headed by LeBron's former coach Keith Dambrot. The team's assistant coach, Dru Joyce III, played with LeBron on the same high school team that Keith coached.

Bryce will be entering his sophomore year of school at Sierra Canyon, where he will play on the junior varsity team. His older brother, Bronny, will be playing for the school's varsity team this year.

In August 2022, LeBron took to Instagram to share how fun it is to watch both of his sons play together. He wrote, "Man I'm literally watching Bronny and Bryce on the court together for the first time in a game situation!! This is INSANE!! I'm EMOTIONAL AF!! WOW."
