I remember growing up and thinking how incredible it was that my grandparents had over seven children. My parents and most of my aunts and uncles never had more than four kids of their own. So I've always wondered how parents arrive at the decision that they're done when it comes to having kids.
The couple in the video below said they were done having kids — after having 13, that is.
According to the mom, they had their last baby on her husband's last day in the Navy. He'd spent 22 years with the military, and throughout those 22 years, he and his wife had a whopping 13 kids.
But 18 months after agreeing that they were done with having kids, the couple gathered their brood for a special surprise. Mom told her 13 kids that it was time to update their family photo — this time with a theme.
The theme was simple: The kids would wear T-shirts that read "Chicklen #[…]" Next to the number sign would be their birth number, and under that would be the year the respective child was born. Then, they would all line up in birth order for an awesome photo.
But before Mom could take their picture, another shirt came into view. This one read, "Chicklen #14 2018."
