King Charles III is trying to get into the swing of things as monarch, but it seems that a few things are standing in his way. For starters, a rogue pen that apparently couldn't stop leaking appeared to infuriate the king when he attended a signing ceremony on September 12, 2022.
As noted by Reuters, this was the second time in only days that Charles has appeared to crack under pressure. He was in Northern Ireland for the mourning tour in honor of his mother, Queen Elizabeth.
In the video, Charles is shown signing a visitors book at Hillsborough Castle when his pen begins to leak. At one point, Charles is heard saying, "I can't bear this bloody thing … every stinking time."
