Parents know they cannot control which toys their children will fall in love with, even if they wished they could. This was the case in Florida when an adorable toddler fell in love with a demonic-looking doll at a Spirit Halloween store. Briar Rose named her new doll Chloe.
Mom Brittany Beard said Briar Rose’s doll Chloe has gotten them some weird looks. Brittany nicknamed the doll “Creepy Chloe.” The doll is also responsible for a magical day at Walt Disney World that Brittany posted about on Facebook.
Briar Rose insisted on taking her beloved doll with her to Disney World. She even dressed the doll up as a princess for the occasion. Brittany joked, “Because creepy babies need Disney magic too I guess?”
Brittany embraced her daughter’s decision and decided to run with the theme. She dressed Briar Rose as a Haunted Mansion cast member. Creepy Chloe was the perfect accessory for that ensemble.
On their big Disney day, Brittany and Briar Rose first ate breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe. While there, a cast member noticed them and brought out the pastry chef to meet them. The pastry chef loves spooky things, so this was right up her alley. She gifted Briar Rose and Brittany a Halloween-themed cupcake and a mini handmade chocolate Haunted Mansion poster. Yum.
To make sure they remembered this day, Creepy Chloe and Briar Rose had a photo shoot. The Disney photographer loved it. Brittany speculates because it was a change of pace from the normal everyday princesses they were used to shooting.
They, of course, had to go to the Haunted Mansion on this Disney day. Cast members noticed them immediately. They received a VIP experience because of it.
Cast members took Briar Rose, Creepy Chloe, and Brittany to a secret room that most visitors do not get to see: the special “Servants' Quarters” in the Haunted Mansion. They got to see keys to all the rooms and the bells that the ghosts use to call the servants.
After visiting the Servants' Quarters, they were taken straight to the Stretching Room. They did not have to wait in the 50-minute line. After the Stretching Room, cast members were waiting for them with official Haunted Mansion Caretaker certificates. Cast members then escorted them to the front of the line to get on their buggy for the ride through the mansion.
Brittany muses that the moral of the story is to buy your child that creepy doll. It might just allow you to have a magical Disney day. She does warn that the doll might steal your soul while you sleep, but it will totally be worth it.
Briar Rose agrees. She begged Brittany to buy Creepy Chloe for her: “I’m it’s mommy and it needs me!” Seems like both Brittany and Briar Rose have Creepy Chloe to thank for their Disney experience and newfound internet fame.
