Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their second child, daughter Lilibet, in the summer of 2021. That year, Meghan sat down for an interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and opened up about what their two kids are really like (so far).
Meghan began by talking about what life was like for Archie when Lilibet arrived, noting that there's definitely an adjustment period for firstborns once they are no longer an only child.
She explained, "Someone told [Harry] and I that when you have one kid it’s a hobby, and two children is parenting. Suddenly we realized, ‘Oh, right.’ Everyone talks about what it’s like for the second child, but no one talks about the adjustment for the first child when the second one comes along."
She also included a few fun details about the pair, including what they dressed as for Halloween (and just how into being dressed up Archie was). It turns out that baby Lilibet is teething, which means the whole family isn't sleeping too well.
