Chrisley Daughters Have Strange, Biblical Reaction To Their Parents’ Jail Sentencing

Savannah and Lindsie Chrisley posted subtle reactions to the sentencing of Todd and Julie Chrisley on their Instagram stories.

Savannah posted a quote from a popular social media pastor that implied she felt she didn’t owe anyone an explanation about the situation.

“Noah didn’t stop building the ark to explain himself to everyone who doubted and hated on him,” the post read.

“Keep building your ark. The rain will do the talking,” the quote finished.

Lindsie was a little more clear in her recognition of the hard times she was facing. She posted a video of her smiling friends sitting on a bed laughing.

Bruno Mars’ “Count On Me” played over the video, while overlaid text read, “The best girlfriends, show up in the bad times with hugs and champagne.”

The next morning, she continued vaguely referencing the case, by reposting a video from TikTok featuring Steve Harvey about prayer. “Don’t forget to pray, but don’t be ashamed to pray,” Harvey stresses in the back-and-white video.

“Don’t be too proud to pray. Because prayer… changes things.”

Lindsie, who was estranged from her father from 2019 up until this past summer, is a result of Todd’s previous marriage, as is his son Kyle Chrisley.

Neither Kyle nor brother Chase Chrisley have commented on social media about the sentencing yet.

Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie were sentenced to a combined 19 years in jail after they were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion.

Todd received the heftier verdict of 12 years behind bars and 16 additional months of probation. Julie was sentenced to seven years in prison and will also be on probation for 16 months.

The family’s multiple shows on the E! network, such as Growing Up Chrisley, have reportedly been canceled.

A month before their conviction, Chrisley Knows Best was renewed for a 10th season. Page Six reports that the network has some episodes already filmed for season 10 that were shot before trial began.

Those episodes are expected to air next year.

Todd had also previously been cast as the host of a new dating show called Love Limo, though Page Six confirmed that the upcoming project was also canceled.

Todd and Julie were indicted back in August 2019 on charges claiming that they gave fake documents to banks to secure more than $30 million in loans.

Julie was additionally charged with using fake bank statements to rent a home. They were convicted in June of this year, and their jail sentences were announced on Monday, November 21, 2022.
