The new year gives humanity the collective opportunity to start fresh again. We can make resolutions or even change our physical appearance. Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 16, chose to do the latter.
She was spotted in a parking lot with older sister Zahara on Sunday, January 8, 2023, with a new buzz cut hairstyle. The sisters were also somewhat matching, both wearing black tops and sneakers. Shiloh was wearing gray shorts, a black hoodie sweatshirt, and high-top sneakers. Zahara was wearing a black tee, jeans, and Converse sneakers.
Before this sisterly outing, Shiloh rang in the new year in London with mom Angelina. She was spotted having coffee with Paul Mescal and her mother after seeing the actor in a production of A Streetcar Named Desire. It is unclear if her hair was buzzed then because she was wearing a yellow beanie.
Zahara has been busy attending her freshman year at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Spelman is a historically Black liberal arts school. According to its website, it is “a global leader in the education of women of African descent, is dedicated to academic excellence in the liberal arts and sciences and the intellectual, creative, ethical, and leadership development of its students.”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt share six children: Maddox Chivan, 21; Zahara Marley, 17; Shiloh Nouvel, 16; Pax Thien, 19; and twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, 14. The couple have been separated since 2016.
In 2021, Angelina opened up about motherhood in an interview with British Vogue. “I was never very good at sitting still. Even though I wanted to have many children and be a mom, I always imagined it kind of like Jane Goodall, traveling in the middle of the jungle somewhere. I didn’t imagine it in that true, traditional sense. I feel like I’m lacking in all the skills to be a traditional stay-at-home mom. I’m managing through it because the children are quite resilient, and they’re helping me, but I’m not good at it at all,” she said.
