BMX Rider Collides With Boy And The Boy’s Furious Dad Comes Over To Rough Biker Up

As a parent, it’s hard not to be protective of your kids. You always want to be there for them when they need you, and you want to prove to them that no matter what, you will always have their back.

Sometimes, some parents tend to be a little overprotective and cross a line when it comes to standing up for their children. A lot happens in this world, and as a parent, you must be prepared to handle certain situations with as much maturity as you can muster up.

The Caters Clips YouTube channel shared a video of a BMX biker accidentally colliding with a young boy on a skateboard at a skatepark. Shortly after the incident, the boy's father walks over and shoves the biker off his bike and onto the ground.

Karl Periam, 24, was riding his BMX bike, attempting to land backward while making a spin in the air. Focusing on his trick, Karl didn’t have time to see the young boy, said to be 13 or 14, who was in his path. Karl’s friend Kenny Kemsley recorded the whole encounter.

After the father pushes Karl down, we see Karl look at him in shock and anger, wondering what the purpose of it was. One of Karl’s friends says, “It wasn’t his fault.” As they walk away, you can hear them ask the boy, “Are you good?”

Once Karl and his friends are back up to where their belongings are, the father follows him up there, clearly not over the incident that just occurred. You can’t hear the heated conversation between the two, but by the end, a guy steps in between the two gentlemen, holding back Karl.

If you have ever been to a skatepark, most of the time it’s a madhouse. There are skate boarders, bikers, and roller skaters all around. If you do bring your child to a skatepark, you have to be aware that there will most likely be accidents, but that’s what they are: accidents. The father of this boy could have handled this situation a lot better than he did. Karl, on the other hand, kept his anger in check pretty well, until the father started to push his buttons a little too far.
