Tommy Lee’s Wife Brittany Says Pam Anderson Would Not Care If She Dies: ‘It’s How I Cope’

Pamela Anderson has a tempestuous romantic life. She is baring it all emotionally and telling the story of her life in a new Netflix documentary, Pamela, a Love Story, and memoir, Love, Pamela, which were both released on January 31, 2023. Much of these focus on her relationship with ex-husband Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.

His wife, Brittany Furlan, had something to say about it. She took to TikTok to make a joke that many believe is not very funny. Brittany claims it was all in good fun and how she chose to cope with some not-so-nice stories being told about her husband.

The joke in question came in the form of a TikTok video. Brittany used the '90s Pam Make-Up filter for the occasion. She is seen in the video continuously saying “oh, oh” with the words "Pam if I died" superimposed while Tommy sits by oblivious. She captioned her post, "Pls guys I gotta make jokes it’s how I cope."

The internet was not having it. Users called her post “disrespectful,” “uncalled for,” and “horrible.” They were not laughing; they were angry.

Some thought Brittany took the low road while Pamela took the high. One user commented that Pamela had “nothing but nice things to say” about Brittany during her press tour. Several other users agreed with this sentiment.

Brittany came to her own defense. She believes that “people mistook” her joke. “[They] thought I was making a joke about her dying instead of myself,” she explained to Page Six.

Brittany sarcastically revealed the fallout from the post has been “so fun.” She is “saddened” that people would misunderstand her and take her joke “the wrong way.” The price one pays for living in the public eye is their judgment.

She is taking all the backlash in stride. She cannot control other people. “What will be will be,” she muses.

She copes by trying to find the funny. “Humor, even dark humor” helps her through “uncomfy” occurrences. Unfortunately, that's what started this in the first place.

Brittany posted a follow-up video on TikTok assuring her followers that she was OK and to thank them for their concern. She also praised her husband, saying she was “lucky to have a really loving husband who honestly laughs all the stuff off and could care less.” Brittany and Tommy have been married since Valentine’s Day 2019.
