When Sora Elowen Blu was a little girl, her favorite place in the world was her family's off-grid cabin. She grew up dreaming of having her very own "living tiny" lifestyle that would bring her closer to nature.
Recently, the 30-year-old from Brothers, Oregon, decided to make her dream come true. She purchased an old, rusty trailer and turned it into her dream home on wheels.
The preparation began on social media. "I have always found Facebook Marketplace and niche Facebook groups to be an amazing resource for land, for rent, trailers for sale, and extensive circles of people with knowledge to share," she told Newsflare. From there, she was ready to begin the trailer's transformation.
Sora documented the amazing renovation journey on TikTok, along with her health journey as she gave her followers a glimpse into her battle with Crohn's disease while she designed and built her new home.
With the help of her parents, Sora totally transformed the trailer's interior.
