We all know to be careful of what we click online, but now it seems that even our "snail mail" might be leading us to dangerous corners of the Internet — and all thanks to a mysterious figure signed only as "Jenny B."
According to a release published by the Better Business Bureau serving Northern Nevada and Utah, women across the country have reported receiving a strange card from "Jenny B" — and thus being tricked into sharing their credit card, home address, and other sensitive information with scammers.
But this isn't your ordinary piece of junk mail, as it's been very carefully designed to look just like a handwritten greeting card — right down to the return address corner. While there's no address written, it's been made to look as if a return address sticker had once been attached, but then got lost in the mail.
