All Charges Against Alec Baldwin Dropped In ‘Rust’ Lawsuit

Sources close to the ongoing lawsuit against Alec Baldwin have indicated that the charges against the actor have been dropped.

Baldwin had been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in the October 2021 shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film Rust.

Baldwin's lawyers Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro commented, "We are pleased with the decision to dismiss the case against Alec Baldwin and we encourage a proper investigation into the facts and circumstances of this tragic accident."

Baldwin had previously pleaded not guilty to both counts.

The film's armorer was also charged with the same counts of involuntary manslaughter, though it is unclear if there are still charges against her.
