In 2015, 12-year-old Morgan came home from school with some confusing and upsetting news. Earlier that day, the preteen walked into her classroom at her school in Indianapolis and was reprimanded over her outfit.
Morgan was given a two-day suspension because her "pants were too tight." Despite the fact she was completely covered from head to toe and no body parts were exposed, the school said her jeans were simply too formfitting to her legs.
So Morgan wore a different pair of pants the next day. And the day after that, she showed up at school in a third pair. On both days, the school issued her more dress-code violations and said both alternative pairs of pants were too tight.

Traci said her daughter was very petite, so it was always difficult to find her clothes that fit in the first place — and the last thing she wanted to do was send Morgan to school wearing baggy sweatpants.
"It's unfathomable to me that there's this big of an issue on dress code and not on her education," she told RTV6.
Morgan was forced to serve her suspension before the school gave her two options: either swap out all of her pants or serve two more suspensions!
But Traci had other plans for her daughter…
