Connor was very close to his mother, Heather, so when she tragically died in a house fire, he was absolutely devastated.
By a stroke of good fortune, Connor’s maternal grandparents were wealthy and had left him a nice inheritance. But although he came from family money, Connor never wanted to appear spoiled, so when he grew up, he moved to New Jersey to start his own business.
One day while Connor was working at his office, the fire that ultimately took his mother’s life occurred. After her funeral, Connor returned to his mom’s house to retrieve what was left of her belongings before putting the property up for sale.
One of the first things he found was an old framed photograph of the two of them. Looking at this old picture made Connor smile, so he placed it on his work desk so he could have a daily reminder of what an amazing person his mother was.
A few years later, the framed photo ended up getting knocked off Connor’s desk and the glass shattered into what looked like a million pieces. When Connor picked up the picture, he noticed some handwriting on the back that read “Judy and Kevin, 1983.”
Upon closer examination, Connor decided that even though these two people looked like them, this was not a photograph of him and his mom.

Through some research on social media, Connor found a woman in his area named Judy Stein who looked like the woman in the picture. He decided to take a chance and venture over to her house to ask her about the photo he found in his mom’s home.
