A video that shows a flight attendant telling passengers why they can't get on the aircraft has gone viral. In the video, the flight attendant explains that she saw the passengers drinking alcohol and doing cartwheels.
"I want a sobriety test," one of the passengers can be heard saying in the video. "I'm sober. I work with children. I've been doing cartwheels and backbends." The flight attendant told the passengers that they were "jeopardizing the safety of this aircraft," and explained to the passengers why they were not allowed to board as they recorded a video of her talking.
The passenger asked the flight attendant what behavior she saw. The flight attendant said, "You're flipping all over the ground, you're engaging, you're loud, you want attention from everybody," the flight attendant explained. "All of us, the whole entire crew, saw it." In response, the passenger said, "You mean the cartwheels I was doing with the children that I met on the flight?” The flight attendant responded with, "As I was watching you drink your alcohol."
The passenger then admitted that she had "one glass of wine," and the flight attendant said that because of her alcohol consumption, she would not be allowed on the aircraft. "So anybody that has had one glass can't come on to this plane?" the passenger asked. The flight attendant then explained that it's not because she had a drink, but because she appeared to be intoxicated and disruptive. "I have kids at home that I'm waiting to get back to," the passenger exclaimed.
"Well, that's unfortunate," the flight attendant responded.

In the comments on the original Reddit post, some Reddit users said that they've been drunk on flights before. The key, they explained, is to not be obnoxious or obvious about it.
"I’ve gotten on a plane drunk coming from Vegas finished my last drink right before going thru tsa just gotta be a calm drunk that’s all," one person wrote.
"I’m terrified of flying and got on so drunk I don’t remember boarding," another commented. "However in that state I still managed to keep quiet and not do cartwheels and just slept it off on board."
Many applauded the flight attendant for being firm and sticking to the rules.
One Redditor wrote: "Bravo! She saved all the passengers the inconvenience of having to divert the plane to land and unboard an unruly passenger."
