Often, when you’re a parent, you find yourself doing things for your children and their well-being that you maybe wouldn’t normally do if you were on your own.
Madison was a hardworking single mother of two adorable kids. Even though it wasn’t her ideal work situation, she spent her days working at a popular steakhouse in a small town in West Virginia.
Madison didn’t have her own transportation and there was no bus line where she lived, so each day she walked 3 miles to her job.
“I still can’t believe you walk so much each day,” Madison’s coworker Alex told her in disbelief. They were both sitting outside after the lunch rush for a little downtime. At that moment, Madison shared with Alex that her knees were starting to give her trouble and she desperately needed a car to be able to get to work.
At the steakhouse, Madison worked the grill in the kitchen. In a popular steak establishment, it was one of the most important jobs because customers are often picky about how they want their steak cooked. Madison always made sure to pay close attention to her grilling with every piece of meat she cooked.

One morning, as she was getting ready to leave, one of her kids came running up to her and told her that there was a car parked in their usually empty driveway. Madison just figured that it was one of the neighbors' cars that needed a place to park until she noticed a note with her name on it with a set of keys close by.
