Keke Palmer has been granted temporary sole custody of her son with her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson, as well as a restraining order against her child's father. She filed for full custody in early November, along with an emergency domestic violence restraining order, revealing that her former partner repeatedly abused her physically and emotionally.
After they broke up, the 30-year-old singer installed cameras in her home and was able to provide security camera footage to the courts of him appearing to assault her.
According to court documents, Palmer asked the courts for full physical and legal custody of their 8-month-old son Leodis. She also detailed multiple accounts of alleged physical abuse.
The Los Angeles County judge granted the Nope actress temporary sole custody and a temporary restraining order, in which Jackson must stay at least 100 yards away from both Palmer and their son, in addition to any child care or schooling that the infant attends.
