Cincinnati, Ohio, Couple Recreates Their Blind Date In Super Adorable Photos

Grab some tissues, because this love story is sure to bring tears to your eyes! When Colt Reese and now Savannah Reese got set up on a blind date, they had no idea that they would end up finding "The One" in each other.

On August 28, 2022, which is Colt's birthday, the two met on a blind date that Savannah had arranged. She even reached out to Hannah Brink, photographer of Three C Photography in Cincinnati, Ohio, to capture photos of the date. Little did they know that they'd soon be recreating those same photos at their wedding!

Savannah and Hannah worked together to bring the entire blind date idea to life. "We started chatting about it a little bit and then I kind of got a feel of what she was looking for in a partner," the photographer said. "So I made a post looking for single men and just asking for recommendations of who people thought would fit the bill, and then Colt was recommended to me."

"My friend asked me to do [the shoot] and said that I would have fun," Colt told Good Morning America. "And she thought that I would like the girl that was going to be [there]. I said, 'Sure, why not?'"

The trio arranged to meet at East Fork Lake in Bethel, Ohio. "When I actually saw [Savannah's] laugh in person, that's kind of when I was hooked," Colt shared.

The chemistry was undeniable. "The whole time we just laughed, and it was just the best date I've ever been on," Savannah said.

"The second they turned around, it was like they were friends," Hannah recalled. "They were immediately having conversation, nonstop laughing. He literally could not take his eyes off of her. They were hugging and kissing like they had been doing it forever."

After the photo shoot, Hannah joked that she wanted an invitation to their wedding. But to her surprise, it wasn't long until the Colt and Savannah were engaged! Colt proposed to Savannah at the same lake where they first met.

"I didn't know this at the time. I knew my parents had met on a blind date … but where we did our photo shoot at [the lake] was where my dad proposed to my mom. So, it kind of came full circle," Savannah explained. At their wedding, the couple posed to re-create their first date photos, with Hannah behind the camera again.

And soon, they'll be getting their photos taken again, this time with a plus one. "Our next pictures with Hannah will be maternity pictures," Savannah shared. "We're expecting a little boy now. So, that'll be our next stage."
