On December 9, 2023 Adam Driver hosted Saturday Night Live for the fourth time to promote his upcoming film Ferrari. The rehearsal process for the popular sketch show has the host trying out lots of different material before they land on what are the funniest moments. Adam let some personal details about his life slip out in this process.
According to Page Six, Adam revealed that his daughter, a baby girl, was born sometime this year. He didn’t divulge much more information but at least fans can rejoice with the knowledge that she’s here. Adam and Joanne Tucker are extremely private people and prefer to live their lives out of the limelight.
Adam opened SNL with the classic monologue segment. He talked to Santa about what he wanted for Christmas. In rehearsal he joked: “Last year, I asked for a baby girl, and I got it, which is exhausting. So this year, I wish for Ambien!” That line didn’t make the final cut, but now we know the couple welcomed a baby this year.
Adam and Joanne also have a son, whom Adam also revealed on SNL in 2020. "I'm a husband. And a father,” Adam stated. “It's in that order though. I've been very clear with my son about that, he's second in everything."

Adam loves his son dearly and even made a movie with him in mind, 65, which had dinosaurs. His son loves dinos. Unfortunately, the movie turned out to be too frightening for him. “He doesn't want to see the movie because it's too scary," Adam bemoaned to Seth Myers. "So, I basically made this thing for him to watch that he has no interest in watching."
