Cops Hear Kids’ Voices Inside ‘Empty’ Day Care, Find 26 Toddlers Hidden Behind Fake Wall

When you have to leave your child in someone else's care, you do everything you can to make sure that person will keep your child safe at all costs.

Parents in Colorado Springs thought they were bringing their kids to a day care with a great reputation for being clean, friendly, organized, and professional.

But in November 2019, the Colorado Springs Police Department performed a welfare check at the Play Mountain Place after receiving complaints of overcrowding.

The facility, owned by 58-year-old Carla Faith, was reportedly licensed to hold only six children.

At first, officers couldn't find any kids inside the day care. Meanwhile, Carla Faith was refusing to cooperate with authorities.

Despite the fact the facility seemed empty, officers heard the distinct sound of children's voices coming from somewhere inside the house.

When one parent, identified as "Kate," went to the day care to pick up her 1-year-old daughter, an employee from the Colorado Department of Human Services showed her what they'd just discovered.
