Andrew and Neely Moldovan tied the knot in Dallas in October 2014. They hired a professional photographer, Andrea Polito, who'd owned her own successful and respected photography business for 13 years.
Three months after the wedding, Andrew and Neely appeared on local TV with a string of complaints about Andrea and the photos she took on their special day.
The couple claimed the photographer was withholding their photos and demanding an extra $125 on top of the thousands they'd already paid her. Andrew and Neely publicly expressed their heartbreak and accused Andrea of holding their wedding photos "hostage." They quickly amassed many supporters who joined in the backlash against the photographer.

Then Andrew and Neely took their campaign against Andrea one step further. They targeted her on social media, slandering her name to the point she was forced to shut down her company. Calling her a "scam artist," they tarnished her reputation so badly that Andrea said her business went down the tubes. Andrea, who eventually drained her savings accounts in an effort to continue providing for her family, said she felt humiliated and “completely dead.”
But then the story took a surprising turn.
Andrea took the Moldovans to court after collecting evidence that their accusations about her — from withholding the photos to charging unexpected fees — were fabricated.
The jury ended up delivering a verdict that left Andrew and Neely shocked.
