Usher had more than one thing to look forward to on Super Bowl Sunday apparently! According to court records obtained by People, the 45-year-old Grammy winner and his long-time girlfriend, Jennifer "Jenn" Goicoechea, obtained a marriage license before his halftime performance.
The license was issued in Clark County, Nevada, on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Usher headlined for the Super Bowl halftime on February 11, 2024. The court records also show their marriage certificate has not been filed as of yet.
The two first stepped out as a couple in 2019. In 2020, they welcomed their first child, Sovereign Bo. In 2021, they had another child, Sire Castrello. Usher also has two sons with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster.
In 2023, the "OMG' singer opened up to People about his relationship. "I have an amazing partner, a support system," he said. "We have an amazing dynamic between our relationship where I'm able to be passionate still about what I do and have an incredible partner to work through some of the harder times as a young man dealing with children."

In the same interview, he shared, "We’ve obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children. It wouldn’t be odd for us to get married. We already did here. You know what I’m saying? And we’re going to be in each other’s lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share."
