Parents Blame Son For Their Divorce Until Table Behind Them Overhears The Accusations

Divorce can be earth-shattering for a child. Above all, it's crucial for parents to help these kids understand that it's not their fault.

In the video below, a family visits a restaurant in New Jersey. Tracey and Tyler have brought along their 11-year-old son Ashton. Suddenly, they break the news to him in public: they're getting a divorce. It's clear that Ashton is full of confusion and devastation as the conversation gets louder and louder.

"Is it because of me?!" Ashton cries out.

"Let's just say that becoming parents didn't help our marriage," Tyler says.

Tracey and Tyler eventually get up from the table, leaving Ashton sobbing alone and thinking he has ruined his parents' marriage… and it's all his fault.
