Caitlyn Jenner Claims That OJ Simpson Told Nicole Brown That He Was Going To Kill Her

Caitlyn Jenner might not be the most reliable of sources, but she does seem to think that OJ Simpson might have gotten away with murder. And that's something she'd have some credibility about, as her family was tied into the infamous trial back in 1995.

Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003, served as a defense attorney for OJ during the case. At the time, the Kardashian children weren't in the spotlight. But OJ's association with their dad helped make the Kardashian name famous.

Unfortunately, Robert Kardashian died young, at the age of 59, succumbing to esophageal cancer. One of his ex-wives, Kristen — known best in the entertainment world as Kris — married Bruce Jenner and gave birth to Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner. They split in 2014, and Bruce came out as a transgender female, quickly starting her official transition.

Now known as Caitlyn Jenner, in 2021 she gave a quip that shows she believes in his guilt. OJ was charged with the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and a friend of hers but was found not guilty in the sensational trial. However, OJ did spend some time in jail later in life for other offenses.

Caitlyn discussed what she knew on the Australian TV show Big Brother VIP. In an excerpt posted to YouTube showing a sneak peek of the episode, you can see Caitlyn chatting about OJ's alleged guilt. But even stranger, she said that OJ had also threatened Nicole, making Nicole afraid she was going to die.

Caitlyn has some authority on the subject because she knew Nicole personally, through Kris' friendship with Nicole. Caitlyn talked about what it was like having Kris be so close to Nicole before her death.

"It was an extraordinarily difficult time," she said. "Nicole was Kris' best friend. Had been for a long time." Kris and Robert had divorced several years prior to Robert's death, giving Caitlyn even more insight to the scandal. That divorce was reportedly one of Kris' biggest regrets.

"I was at Nicole's house two days before the murder," Caitlyn said. "Obviously he did it, and he got away with it, and at one point he even told Nicole, 'I'll kill you and get away with it 'cause I'm O.J. Simpson.' And Nicole relayed that on to Kris at one point, and unfortunately she was right."

"We were at the courthouse," Caitlyn continued. "We're watching what's going on in the other room, and even after the not guilty verdict, the first thing Kris turns around to me and goes, 'We should have listened to Nicole. She was right right from the beginning.'"

It's unclear whether or not Kris still talks to OJ, but it'd make sense that she'd try to keep her distance — especially after he was eventually arrested for other charges. Kris has been wonderful with managing the careers of her children, so it seems like she'd want to shield the family from any sort of negative association.

She did, however, address bad rumors that spread in 2019 saying that she'd had an affair with OJ. The allegations were reported by the Daily Mail, and Kris sued the outlet. "I am so upset by this whole article," she later said on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, per ET Canada.

While Caitlyn Jenner might not be the best source in the family, surely she felt bad for Kris and what Kris went through. Caitlyn and Kris initially announced their separation back in October 2013, but they've still been in each other's lives due to their children. They may no longer be romantically compatible, but surely they still look out for each other.

According to People, Kris says that her relationship with Caitlyn is in a good place. "I think it's very respectful," she said. "She's the father of two of my kids, and so that speaks volumes." Their relationship had some rocky moments while they were trying to figure out the transition period, but they know that they'll always still be family.
