Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos returned to the scene of the crime. The Live cohosts and happy couple were married on May 1, 1996, at the Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the February 28, 2024, episode of their hit talk show Kelly and Mark revisited the site.
Kelly and Mark recreated their wedding photo standing at the altar and holding each other close. They also surprised a lucky couple and officiated their wedding. A little known fact is that Kelly and Mark are also ordained ministers.
Kelly posted the recreated wedding pic on Instagram along with the original. “Viva Las Vegas ✨ Then ➡️ Now,” she captioned the photos. The lovebirds seem just as happy today as on the big day almost 28 years ago.
This return visit hit Mark in the feels. “I started getting sweaty,” he shared. “We were 25-year-olds. Our son is 26. It doesn’t make any sense. In a city where people roll the dice every day here, this is one of the safest bets I’ve made.”

Kelly and Mark first met on the set of All My Children and have been going strong as a couple ever since. They share three children, Michael, 26, Lola, 22, and Joaquin, 21. They joke they will never renew their wedding vows because it is the “kiss of death” for marriages.
“We are very superstitious about vow renewals,” Kelly confessed. “I just feel like a vow renewal is a pre-divorce.”
