Noah Cyrus is standing by her dad's side, according to a source close to the family. Despite how negatively Billy Ray Cyrus' divorce from Tish Cyrus impacted the family, the source says that his youngest daughter is still fully supporting him.
The former couple were married for nearly 30 years before the 62-year-old country singer/songwriter filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They had reportedly split several times before, but ultimately always ended up reconciling.
“Noah is very loyal to Billy Ray,” the source said of the 24-year-old. “She and Billy Ray have always had a really close relationship.” The former couple also share daughters Brandi (36) and Miley (31), and sons Trace (35) and Braison (29). Billy Ray also has 31-year-old son, Christopher Cody, from a previous relationship.
“It hasn’t been easy for any of the kids,” the source added, referring to the divorce. “Their parents’ separation was really hard, but it was also long overdue.”

It appears that Miley Cyrus isn't in good standing with her father, however. During her 2024 Grammy acceptance speech, she notably left her father out. In 2023, she also opened up about her relationship with her dad on her Disney+ special, Miley Cyrus ‒ Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions).
“My dad grew up the opposite of me. I grew up on a sound stage, like, in a house with a family that was super close and all lived under the same roof. And I grew up financially stable and emotionally stable, I think, in my relationships also," she said. “That’s something that my dad didn’t have."
"I’ve seen how that affects a lot of people that go from having nothing to everything," she continued. "It’s a really dangerous place.” She also added that Billy relies on his fans to heal the wounds of his childhood.
“I think that’s where me and my dad’s relationship to fame and success is wildly different," she explained. “Him feeling loved by a big audience impacted him emotionally more than it ever could me. When he feels special or important, it’s like healing a childhood wound, and I’ve always been made to feel like a star. It makes me emotional. So, I think that’s the difference.”
At the time of their separation, a representative issued a statement on behalf of Billy and Tish: "It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways — not with sadness, but with love in our hearts. We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths."
The former pair have both remarried since, Tish tying the knot with actor Dominic Purcell in August 2023 and Billy tying the knot with singer Firerose in October 2023. An insider did share that Noah was “seeing” Dominic before her mother got together with him. Tish was “aware” of her daughter’s relationship status when she started “pursuing” the actor herself, the insider said.
