Vanessa Hudgens is thrilled to become a first-time mom. She revealed her baby bump on the red carpet. Vanessa cohosted ABC’s Countdown to Oscars: On the Red Carpet Live! with Julianne Hough on Sunday, March 10, 2024. The actress's unborn child made their red carpet debut.
Vanessa, 35, and husband baseball player Cole Tucker, 27, are so excited to become parents. The pair were married three months ago in Mexico. Cole signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners in 2024 and plays shortstop and outfield.
Vanessa was glowing in black Vera Wang Couture gown that reached the floor. She accessorized the look with Chopard jewelry. This included a 10-carat yellow pear-shaped diamond necklace. Let’s not forget the Haute Joaillerie collection diamond earrings and rings she wore.
Vanessa and Cole met in an unusual but Zen way in 2020. “Me and Cole met on a Zoom meditation group,” Vanessa told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s just kind of perfect for me … I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.”

In February 2021, the couple went Instagram official. In November of that same year, they made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Vanessa’s film Tick, Tick … Boom! The love birds got engaged in February 2023.
On December 2, 2023, Vanessa and Cole got married in front of 100 of their closest friends and family. The festivities took place at the Azulik City of Arts, a museum 45 minutes into the jungle, near Tulum, Mexico. Vanessa opened up about their unique venue to Vogue.
“I knew that it was our place,” she gushed. “I felt like I was transported to some kind of utopia, unlike anything I had ever been to before. It was whimsical and magical, and I just fell in love.”
In 2022, Vanessa opened up to Nylon magazine about her potential motherhood timeline. “I always thought that around 36, 37 is when I would want to have kids, and that still plays,” she mused. “I don’t feel panicked about it.”
In 2023 she squashed pregnancy rumors. “Not pregnant so y’all can stop,” she wrote in the comment section of videos from her bachelorette weekend.
There’s no more need for speculation. Vanessa is excited to start this new chapter of her life.
