An unlucky woman had to recover from an incredibly gruesome experience while getting eyelash extensions done. Kelsey Salmon, who has quite a large following on TikTok, was getting eyelash extensions put on at the apartment of her lash tech. That's when the tech's dog, a tiny Chihuahua, jumped up and tore Kelsey's entire eyelid right off.
In May 2021, Kelsey explained to her TikTok followers what happened to her, calling it the "worst lash extension experience." Seriously, no one would argue with that. "No eyelid. Can't even close my eye. Yeah, that's me. Literally, no eyelid," she said, just before showing images of her damaged lid.

Kelsey said the experience was simply terrifying, but that it all happened in a matter of seconds. "It happened so fast I didn't know what he grabbed," she told Inside Edition. "It was shock and adrenaline mixed. But blood started pouring from my face."
The experience sounds simply horrific. But the worst part is that it was actually Kelsey's birthday! She shared what she went through on TikTok, saying that she spent 15 hours in the emergency room having her eyelid reattached.
As part of her recovery, Kelsey couldn't just have her eyelid sewn back on. Her entire eye had to actually be sewn shut for 12 days. The experience is just gruesome, and clearly this tech needs to find a new place to perform her work. This was a serious attack, and Kelsey is lucky to have her eyelid back at all.
Kelsey says the lash tech hasn't even tried to reach out to check on her recovery.
