A young woman who works for her family's company created a video to explain what she does for the structural steel fabricating company — and her dad, the vice president of the company and also her boss, kept laughing. Julia Pennachio, 26, started to tell her TikTok followers that she has "always had a big passion for structural steel."
"I really just love the design aspect of it," she said while her dad, Steve, ate lunch beside her. They both started laughing as Julia jokingly described her role at the company.
Julia went on to describe some of the projects the company just recently completed. "I'm really involved in all that stuff," she said, sounding completely serious.
"A lot of the drawings go to me," she continued, but her dad laughed, causing her to laugh as well.

After laughing, she tried to be serious again, saying, "So the guys will ask me my opinion on a lot of the jobs." But she and her dad could not stop laughing. “Why is that so funny?” she asked her dad.
Her dad asked her what else she does for the company, and she then asked him if he's just vice president or also CFO of the company. He explained that he used to be CFO and now is the vice president, but his role hasn't really changed. "Right, so I do a lot of the same things that he does," Julia explained, causing her dad to laugh again.
"Like when he goes on vacation, I’m definitely acting vice president,” Julia continued. In the caption, she added that she is also "employee of the month all 12 months of the year."
Toward the end of her video, Julia said that her actual title is “executive office manager.” She said that she does "a lot of functions on a day-to-day basis," which her dad nodded along in agreement with until she finished her sentence.
"I manage the staff," she joked. "I also get us a lot of business." Her dad could not stop laughing. In the comments, one TikTok user called the video their favorite TikTok. "Dad can't even finish a bite without laughing," another person commented.
Julia's dad, Steve, is featured in other videos that she has shared on TikTok as well. In one video, she tried to start showcasing their work outfits of the day — though her dad did not seem super interested.
In the video, Julia told her dad that "a lot of people are commenting on [his] style and how classy and handsome [he is]." She then told her dad to follow her lead as she explained her outfit.
When she told her dad that it was his turn to talk about his outfit, he seemed uninterested and appeared to leave. The video then cuts to him sitting in an office chair. Julia asked him where he got his shirt and he didn't respond. "Is it from Nordstrom?" she continued.
"We'll work on him," she concluded. "He's not very interested in it."
