One man is taking a huge blasting across the internet after a video of him started circulating on social media platforms. Though no facts of the story have been confirmed or denied, it appears that the man is the husband of a woman running a marathon, and at the race with who appears to be their two small children. In the video, the man is seen pushing the children out to hug the woman just seconds before she crosses over the finish line, with the next runner right at her heels. Instead of hugging the children, the woman sidesteps them to finish the race.
Many across the internet are labeling the man as "entitled" as the video has garnered over 9 million views on TikTok alone. As the woman crosses the finish line, the man stands back shrugging his shoulders and glancing around with a confused look on his face.
People interpreted his gesture as him being more concerned that she avoided the kids rather than being concerned with the fact that he almost sabotaged her race.

Other showed support for the mother choosing to finish the race rather than stopping for her kids.

More comments continued to drag the seemingly self-centered father.
"This is a reallllly good example of the subtle way that some husbands treat their wives serious commitments outside of family life, like a joke or not serious, or just 'for fun'," someone wrote.

The end of the video showed another male runner peeping the entire situation and going to give the woman a big hug upon crossing the finish line shortly after her. And of course, people had a field day with that in the comments!
One person commented: "I personally like when she hugs her second husband at the end. The supportive one."
"The way the guy behind her was cheering her on ," another comment read. "At least someone understood how important this finish line is ."
