Arkansas Woman Gives Birth At Golden Corral Without Knowing She Was Pregnant

While dining at a Golden Corral restaurant in Arkansas, Tayvia Woodfork went to the bathroom because of stomach pain. She had no idea that she was about to give birth to a baby — she didn't even know she was pregnant.

Tayvia, 26, told Today.com that she didn't know why she was in so much pain, but her mom went in the bathroom to check on her after she hadn't returned to the table. They ended up calling 911, the outlet reported, and shortly after paramedics arrived at the restaurant, Tayvia gave birth. She was actually 37 weeks pregnant, but she said she didn't experience any symptoms associated with pregnancy in the weeks leading up to her baby's birth.

"There were no signs," Tayvia's mom, Tameka, told Today.com. "We had no idea."

Tayvia gave birth to a healthy baby at the restaurant, and the unusual childbirth experience helped her decide what to name her son: Tamaar Kylon Corral Woodfork.

The restaurant also shared the story on social media, calling Tamaar "the new record holder as the youngest fan of Golden Corral."

"IT'S A BOY! Please join us in welcoming Tamaar Kylon Corral Woodfork, who was so excited that his mother was dining at Golden Corral that he decided to join her!" the restaurant posted on Instagram.

"He was just born in our Golden Corral restaurant in North Little Rock, AR. His mom was so excited that she decided to include Corral in his legal name," the post continued.

The restaurant added that "both mother and son are doing great, and we could not be happier!"
