Chrissy Teigen is not one to just sit back and hold her words. She recently clapped back at some fans online after being "roasted" on social media for her "dirty" bathwater. In a video clip shared to John Legend's Instagram on June 18, 2024, the model is shown in a bathtub filled with brown water.
"What is happening here?" her husband asks. "I'm getting all my body makeup off," she says back as she scrubs her leg. "Sometimes you gotta exfoliate! @chrissyteigen’s favorite @loved01skin product," the caption read, as the singer promoted an exfoliating wash from his skin care line, Loved01.
Despite the explanation in the video, many users responded negatively to the clip.
One person commented: "IDGAF if it is makeup. It looks dirty. ♀️ ♀️."
"She didn't have to sit in a bath tub of water to exfoliate her body…yuck," another person said. "Btw not everything is meant for social media."
Chrissy then made her way to the comments to clear things up before she reposted the video on her own page. "The water is dirty because I’m getting my body makeup off, like I said in the video my sweet angels!" she stated under John's post. "Currently getting roasted online for being dirty because no one listened the the audio where I say I’m soaking off body makeup (to shower after!) full blown fights in John’s comments," she wrote on her page.
"My favorite is 'baths are not for bathing'. I love a good old fashioned roasting though, u guys are killing it (it being never touching grass ever)."

"Baths are not for bathing is some amazing internet-ness," John commented under her post.
"Social Media has proven ONE thing…….. Folks are ALWAYS looking for a problem," another person said.
"I’d like to point out that you are washing your legs here," TV producer Caissie St. Onge said. "That’s a big step up from what a lot of people have freely admitted online! ."
