Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz's kids are "alive and well." The iconic I Love Lucy actors were married from 1940 to 1960 and had two children together: Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr. As children, the siblings were photographed together more frequently as they spent time with their famous parents, and appeared alongside their mom in Here's Lucy, which aired from 1968 to 1974. They've both worked in the entertainment industry later on as well. Most recently, they were both producers on the 2021 film about their parents, Being the Ricardos.
In recent years, Desi Arnaz Jr. has stayed out of the spotlight, which his sister addressed in a recent Instagram post. On August 3, 2024, Lucie shared a rare photo with her brother Desi. She explained that her brother "just likes to stay a bit 'undercover.'"
Referring to Desi, 71, as her "recalcitrant brother," Lucie, 73, wrote that "Desi is alive and well." Lucie and Desi were in Las Vegas because Lucie's husband, Laurence Luckinbill, was speaking at an event.
"We are here for the weekend as Larry is being tributed during the 35th Anniversary of Star Trek V celebration at The Treksperts Convention here," she explained on Instagram. "He played Spock’s brother, Sybok in that film- and with his autobiography just released, is a very special guest here. He’ll be taking photos, selling and signing books and speaking on two panels."

She concluded the caption on her carousel of images with, "What smart, interesting, funny, involved and talented and lovable friends and family have I."
As an actress and singer, Lucie is active on social media. However, she rarely shares photos with her brother, who has retired from the entertainment industry.
On January 19, Lucie took to Instagram to wish Desi a happy birthday. In the same post, she addressed some of the rumors that had been started by "toxic trolls here on the Internet."
"My beautiful baby brother, Desi Arnaz, Jr. (who did NOT play “Little Ricky” – that was @littlerickydrums Keith Thibodeaux!! – and is, contrary to the terrible, toxic trolls here on the Internet, still very much alive and kicking) turns 71 young years old today," Lucie wrote at the time.
She shared a series of images of Desi over the years, writing, "He is so good at so many things. These are just a few of the ways I like to think of him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DESI! We love you very much."
