People Share Their Best Chuck Norris Jokes In Response To His Recent Gym Selfie

Chuck Norris is well-known for his role in Walker, Texas Ranger. But for years now, the quintessential tough guy has also provided inspiration for popular memes and jokes commonly referred to as “Chuck Norris Facts” or Chuck Norris jokes. So, it’s probably not all that surprising that when Chuck, who is now 85 years old, took to social media to share a gym selfie with his followers, people responded by sharing their favorite Chuck Norris jokes.

It’s basically a tradition at this point. Every month or so, Chuck shares a simple update with his followers that show what he’s been up to. The comments never disappoint.

His recent photo from the gym was taken ‘several months ago.’

In November, he also wrote an inspiring message for his followers. “Progress isn’t measured by perfection, but by the courage to keep going,” he said at the time. “I’m still setting goals, pushing forward and choosing discipline over comfort. No matter your age, keep striving for the best version of yourself.”

Lots of people were happy to see that Chuck appears to be doing well.

Others, of course, shared their Chuck Norris jokes.

One person commented, “One day Chuck Norris told a woman to calm down, and she calmed down.” Another person wrote, “When chuck Norris was born the doctors said congratulations you have two healthy parents.” Other popular comments on the post read: “He counted to infinity. Twice,” “When Chuck Norris went to college he told his dad ‘you’re the man of the house now,'” and “Death once had a near Chuck Norris experience.”

Of course, these jokes are exaggerated and kind of absurd, which is precisely the point. People have been indulging in the nostalgia of Chuck Norris jokes in response to basically everything he posts on Instagram. In October, Chuck shared a video that showed him riding a horse. In response, someone wrote, “The moment Chuck Norris went to mount the horse, the trainer warned him, saying: ‘Be careful, he is very fierce, so for safety, approach very slowly’ and very carefully the horse approached…”

Several others joked about how Chuck doesn’t need to wear a watch. “I don’t know why chuck wears a watch. He decides what time it is,” one of them wrote.

And in September, Chuck shared a hiking photo. Unsurprisingly, this prompted one fan to comment, “Chuck Norris doesn’t climb mountains; he pulls them down and walks on top of them.” Someone else joked, “When Chuck Norris goes camping in the wild, the bears put their food in a tree for safety.”
