Donald Trump Tried To Flex With An UNO Meme And People Can’t Stop Roasting It

At this point, President Donald Trump’s social media posts have sparked ridicule (and concerns) on multiple occasions. In addition to posting unhinged rants, Trump also has the tendency to share a lot of memes and AI-generated content. Recently, he shared a meme that made it clear that he doesn’t understand the game of UNO, and people think he should be embarrassed.

On Truth Social, Trump shared an image that showed him holding multiple “wild” cards from the card game. The text over the image read, “I have all the cards.”

Trump did not appear to understand that having “all the cards” is not a good thing when playing UNO.

And, apparently, whoever is managing the official White House account isn’t aware of that either, because they also re-shared the same image. Presumably, Trump was trying to suggest that he has the upper hand when it comes to negotiations with Iran, but the post clearly backfired, given that having “all the cards” in UNO would actually mean that he’s losing the game.

Reacting to the White House’s post, one critic wrote, “Trump has all the cards in a game where the objective is to be the first to get rid of all your cards.” In that way, people felt that Trump’s post was actually accurate, even though that clearly isn’t the message he was going for. “Very true,” another critic responded to the White House. “The way to lose in Uno is to have all the cards.”

Some Trump critics said this might be the first time the White House posted something honest.

Others couldn’t get over how unprofessional, uninformed, and embarrassing the post seemed. Another Trump critic wrote, “The goal of the game UNO is to have no cards you f—ing idiot.”

And Congressman Ted Lieu also responded to the White House’s post, writing, “If trump has all the cards, then why are gas prices at record levels? Oh wait, in Uno you win by not having any cards. Your social media person really should get fired.”

The White House has been accused of posting rage bait on purpose, and White House Communications Director Steven Cheung has basically admitted that the Trump administration uses this strategy to boost engagement. Why does the government need to increase engagement on social media, you might ask? Lots of people would like to know!

Jimmy Kimmel also roasted Trump over this.

During a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kimmel mocked Trump’s frequent posting sprees. “Last month, he posted an average of 18 times a day,” he said. “If you had a relative who was posting 18 times a day, you’d be worried about him, right? You’d be like, ‘What’s going on with cousin Matthew? Is he OK?'”

He also specifically mentioned the UNO post everyone’s been talking about. “At 11:13 p.m., he posted a thinly veiled but definitely racist note about House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries,” Kimmel said. “Followed two minutes later with a warning to Iran that said, ‘I have all the cards,’ and (showed him) holding a bunch of UNO cards, which is a game you win by having no cards.”

Kimmel also joked that there seems to be a clear reason why Trump doesn’t understand how to play UNO. “See what happens when you don’t play with your children?” he added.
