A Former Beauty Queen Says Donald Trump Told Her ‘Bad Things Can Happen’ If She Spoke Out

In 2024, former beauty queen Beatrice Keul came forward with sexual misconduct allegations against President Donald Trump, becoming the 28th woman to do so. Now, she’s reflecting on how she has felt silenced, both in the immediate aftermath of the alleged assault and after speaking up about it years later.

When she first came forward, Keul described meeting Trump in 1993 through her involvement in beauty pageants. He reportedly invited her to participate in the Donald J. Trump American Dream Pageant and offered to cover the costs of her trip to New York. While at an event at a hotel in New York City, he allegedly requested a “private meeting” with her. At the time, she would’ve been 23 years old. He was 47.

She said that when she went to this “private meeting,” Trump “jumped” on her.

Back in 2024, she described what happened when speaking to The Daily Mail. At the time, she said she “was not prepared” for what happened when she entered the room where their “private meeting” was. As for why she didn’t say anything about it at the time, she told the publication she was in a vulnerable situation and didn’t know what to do. She ultimately felt like she had to focus on protecting herself.

“I was in a foreign country. I was scared that I could not go home, or I couldn’t come back,” she said. “I was scared of everything, and when you’re scared, you say whatever it takes to save yourself.”

Now, Keul has said that Trump also “threatened” her.

Speaking to The Daily Beast‘s PunchUp, Keul recently shared more details about the alleged assault and what happened afterward. “He was grabbing and touching my body everywhere he could,” she said. “It was violent, it was quick, it was intense. I was screaming for help, and nobody came.”

Then, Trump allegedly warned her that she would face consequences if anyone found out about what had happened that day. “He threatened me,” she claimed. “He clearly told me that I must keep quiet… otherwise, bad things can happen.”

So, she vowed not to say anything, and Trump allegedly responded as if nothing had even happened. She claimed that he told her, “The show must go on.”

When she spoke up about it years later, she still felt threatened.

And like people were trying to get her to stop talking about it. She told PunchUp that she received an ominous call from an anonymous number. The voice message she received said, “We know where you are, and we will get you.”

Keul explained that she never figured out who was responsible for this, but she thinks their intentions were pretty clear: “It was clearly designed to scare me,” she told PunchUp.

The new report about Keul’s story comes amid a recent Supreme Court decision involving Trump. On Monday, June 29, the Supreme Court rejected Trump’s attempt to appeal a sexual abuse verdict. Previously, a jury found that Trump sexually abused writer E. Jean Carroll in the 1990s and later defamed her.

Per CNN, Carroll’s lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, said the Supreme Court’s decision “affirms once and for all the jury’s unanimous verdict that President Donald J. Trump sexually assaulted and defamed E. Jean Carroll.”

Kaplan continued, “His multiple efforts to appeal that verdict have all failed and today’s ruling ends his quest to avoid accountability for his actions.”
