For some, everything they know about Bonnie Blue right now is against their will. But when you have an adult content creator who makes headlines regularly for her videos and wild antics, it’s hard to ignore what she gets up to. That’s what happened when Bonnie, whose real name is Tia Billinger, revealed she was pregnant.
Then, when she posted on social media about auctioning off the right to name the baby, she took things a step further than no one expected. And even then, people who had never followed Bonnie out of genuine interest were sort of forced to learn another nugget of controversy about her. And at this point, it’s sort of like a car crash. It’s hard to look away.

Bonnie posted a video on Instagram announcing plans to ensure her baby’s financial future. Or, rather, to make sure her baby is “rich.” In the video, she says she wants to “auction off” her baby’s name to the highest bidder.
“My baby is gonna be in a very high tax bracket from day one,” Bonnie explains in the video. “So when you see the bang bus, scan the QR code, and help me name my baby. A stranger got me pregnant and now a stranger gets to name it.”
That’s right. Bonnie changed her infamous bang bus to have details on it about how to bid on the rights to name her baby. As in, officially. At least, that’s what Bonnie claims in her initial video about auctioning off the rights. It’s a little hard to believe that she went this long without naming her baby herself, but according to Bonnie, it’s all in the name of making sure her baby is set, financially.

After the auction ended, Bonnie announced the name of her baby — BetBolt. It isn’t lost on people that this is also the name of an online crypto casino and sportsbetting company. But, according to Bonnie, she is going to be shouting “BetBolt” across playgrounds for her kid’s entire childhood. The auction ended at $1.2 million, by the way.
On a Reddit post about the promotion and the resulting name, users slammed Bonnie for auctioning off her child’s name, even if the entire thing is one big publicity stunt.
“I know she’s probably rich, but naming your child this way (let alone after a casino) feels like child abuse,” a Redditor wrote. “Children deserve rights even if they can’t advocate for themselves yet.”
But when someone suggested a nickname for Bonnie’s baby, another user pointed out, “The kid is not actually going to be called this. Almost everything she does at this point is either partially or entirely a hoax.”
Some social media users claim it was all part of a marketing stunt from Bonnie Blue.
Because of the chosen name for Bonnie’s baby, people aren’t sold on the entire gimmick being real in any sense. Under the Instagram post where Bonnie announces her baby’s name, a user commented to point out how this is one big ad for the sports betting website.
“Should have marked this as #ad because that’s clearly what this is,” they wrote. “Advertising standards authority should be notified.”
Another person took it a step further, claiming Bonnie didn’t even have a baby at all.
“Guys…this is a marketing stunt,” the user commented. “You never see the baby, and the only one she showed is clearly a doll.”
But for now, little BetBolt is already a millionaire.
