Amethyst Realm — a wholly appropriate name considering where this story is going — made headlines last year when she claimed to have had 15 ghost lovers since leaving her fiancé some 12 years ago.
Take a moment and digest that sentence. Obviously there's a lot to break down here, and we're going to get to all of it, but for now understand that she is completely serious about these claims. Dead serious, you might say. And believe us when we say the story of how she seduced her first paranormal lover is spectacular.
Amethyst's days of sleeping with just any ol' specter who comes knocking and rattling chains seem to be over, however. According to this bonkers story, she says that she has found a ghost whom she's very much in love with — so much so that they're already discussing having kids.

Amethyst first talked openly about her ghost lovers last year.
A person was actually tasked with creating that caption.
In that initial interview, Amethyst described her first encounter with a paranormal lover. "It was about 12 years ago now, I was living with my fiancé, and he was working away a lot," she explained.
Then one day she "started to feel a presence."
The lonely woman decided to put on some lingerie and hang out in the spare bedroom to seduce the ghost. And… it worked.
Seriously, the entire interview is worth watching just to see the talk show hosts struggling to keep a straight face.

If you don't have the time to watch the full clip (or just don't want your coworkers to catch you watching an interview about ghost sex), we'll just tell you that Amethyst admits that her engagement ended when her fiancé "saw the shape of a man through the window when he pulled up outside."
You can probably guess how most of the internet has reacted to Amethyst's claims.
To continue the story and bring you completely up to speed, Amethyst had 14 other ghoulish lovers prior to that interview, as well as an undisclosed number in the past year.
But her paranormal partying days are apparently over — she just met her forever ghost lover!
She describes the relationship as "pretty serious." The couple apparently met in Australia, but the spirit has since moved back to the UK with her.
Before we break down the nature of her new relationship, we should point out that there are a few believers on Twitter.
OK, fine. We understand this isn't the most ringing endorsement ever, but compared to all the mocking, this lukewarm reception is about as good as it gets, this next one not withstanding.
The fun part about this is, the tweeter 100% believes in spirits, which you would think would make this person more likely to believe Amethyst's story. But nope, just the opposite.
Anyway, back to the sassy tweets and Amethyst's story.
Now, our real-life Demi Moore admits that she can't see her lover but maintains she can communicate and have sex with him. Don't ask us how.
"It's pretty serious," she claims. And then she drops a real bombshell. "In fact, we've even been thinking about having a ghost baby."
"I know that sounds crazy" — at least she knows! — "but I've been looking into it and I don't think it's totally out of the question."
According to her research, the only problem is that these pregnancies aren't usually carried to term.
Listen, everyone is free to believe and feel what they want to believe and feel.
If Amethyst wants to be in a romantic relationship with an Australian ghost and is somehow able to have its babies, and she's not hurting anyone, who are we to judge?
But come on. This one's just a little too far out there for us not to shake our heads at. But if there's even a ghost of a chance it's for real, then we wish them well, we guess.
