A day at the museum isn't for everyone. Not everyone's a devout patron of the arts. While most of us can appreciate the time and dedication that went into some of history's most iconic masterpieces, you can only gaze at so many paintings and sculptures in a day before you're considering the art of the nap.
On a recent family trip to a museum, one young woman learned firsthand what the effects of art fatigue can do to a person — specifically, to a mom.
Angelique was moving to Washington, DC, and enlisted her parents to help her with the process. To take a break from (presumably) moving boxes and struggling to construct IKEA furniture, Angelique decided to take the family to the Smithsonian.
Most moms want to spend a day at the museum painstakingly reading every. single. placard beneath every. single. work of art. Not Angelique's mom. Instead, Angelique's mom decided to become a legend.

We lead off with the understatement of the century.

Shine? Angelique, your mother entered the history books with this performance. Don't downplay it.

Imagine walking into the Smithsonian and seeing this going on. If you're the type of person who would laugh and give this woman a high five, keep scrolling.

Really keep an eye on the facial expressions as we work our way through these. It's clear this woman was taking her performance seriously.

The attention to detail is astounding. That arch, the arm positioning.

Hollywood's going to be calling her up any day now.

This level of perfection can't be taught. You either have it or you don't, and this lady has it!

It takes a special sort of mother to pose in a moderately suggestive position for her daughter's Twitter, and we support it completely.
Improvisation is the sign of a true artist:

While this statue pays homage to an abundant harvest of fruit, our new favorite mom updates the pose to modern times with plastic water bottles.

This one feels like it could be a meme. "What's that now?"

And here she is mid-dance-off, dominating the club floor with her timeless moves.

Ohhh say can you see… that this mom is a star? She's a true American hero.

Honestly, we'd have the exact same reaction if we got the chance to stand in front of Barack.

She might just be taking the opportunity to take a quick rest here, and we don't blame her.
Really, what else is there to say?
