Judge Is Blown Away By First Sister’s Voice, Then Is Stunned When Second Chimes In

NBC's The Voice is mysterious by nature. The whole premise of the singing competition is that the judges must make decisions on contestants' performances with their backs turned, relying solely on their opinion of the singers' voices.

This season's panel consists of country singer Blake Shelton, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, pop star Miley Cyrus, and R&B songstress Alicia Keys.

It's always interesting to see their reactions to the person that's been singing for the past few minutes, but it's rare that the judges are ever truly shocked by the person standing in front of them once they turn their chairs forward.

Yet when sisters Shannon and Whitney walked on the stage for their performance of Fleetwood Mac's classic song "Landslide," the judges' jaws dropped. (The sisters say they performed the Dixie Chicks' version of the tune.)

Shannon began singing first, and her verse was beautiful. But it's when Whitney joined her that the judges were won over by the sisters' harmonies.

All four chairs turned for the singers, and the judges gave a standing ovation.

Then they made their cases to Shannon and Whitney. The two heard a ton of praise and then it was time to make a decision and choose a coach.

With a little bit of discussion, the sisters chose Keys as their coach — and the singer was overjoyed to have them on her team!
