Most of us know what it's like suffer through tough times, especially when it comes to financial troubles.
There will be days when the money just isn't there and it feels like all you do is work, but you try to persevere.
For a florist named Megan, her tough times seemed a bit tougher to shake.
She'd been running her Australia-based shop called Aangela's Florist for nearly 20 years, and she was unable to close for even one day in fear that the business wouldn't survive it. Even when she had spinal surgery last year, Megan came into work that same day because she had no other choice.
She also relies heavily on the help of her 80-year-old mother to keep the shop running smoothly.
The two hardworking women had planned to take a three-day cruise, but ended up canceling the trip because they couldn't shut down for that small break.
So when New South Wales radio host Jackie O walked into Aangela's, it was business as usual for Megan. After answering a few questions for the host, the florist put together a beautiful bouquet for Jackie O, who had explained that she had a friend in the hospital.
Of course, this wasn't the truth, and Jackie O put down $10,000 on the counter rather than the $52 that she owed. The station heard of Megan's troubles and wanted to lift her burden, even if it was just a little bit.
Megan couldn't hold back her tears at the revelation. Hopefully now she can take that well-deserved vacation with her mom.
