Richard Landers lived with his grandparents since he was born. But in July 1994, after a dispute between his mother and grandparents over his custody, Richard's grandparents took him 675 miles from his home.
Richard was five years old when his grandparents abducted him and the case went cold in 2008.
But 19 years after Richard went missing, investigators reopened the case when his stepdad turned his Social Security card in to a detective. The card was connected to a grown man with the same Social Security number and date of birth.
Though the name on the card was different, the photo looked exactly like the little boy who went missing back in 1994.
