I can't tell you how many times I wore out my old Disney VHS tapes, especially when it came to The Little Mermaid. I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did! I'm even more impressed by the magic of those classic animated movies resonating with new generations of youngsters, too. I shouldn't be, of course, considering how timeless those beautiful films remain today.
This little princess enjoyed a double dose of Disney fun with her doting daddy playing the role of Prince Charming. Dressed in her finest Cinderella gown, the adorable duo sways and dances to the Aladdin tune "A Whole New World." It's like really, really early practice for the day she walks down the aisle and shares a dance with him at her wedding, but that's still quite a ways down the road.
For now, the cutie lets her dad take the lead as he swings her around in the air and around his back while she giggles her heart out. Behind the camera, Mom is doing her share of giggling, too, while she watches the precious scene unfold. This dad clearly knows how to make all the ladies in his home feel like royalty! I have a feeling Mom might cut in for the next dance. It definitely makes me miss the days when I could stand on my dad's toes and feel like I'm flying around in his arms. But, unlike the movies, we all have to grow up sometime.
