Any mom can tell you that toddlers are notoriously tough to handle. This is when they really push your boundaries, throwing things, screaming about things, eating things they shouldn’t eat — just being general menaces.
And while dealing with one young child is hard, it’s even harder to deal with two. One parent can only look after so many children, and when there are two kids and one mom, sometimes the kids get a little out of hand.
That’s what happened to this mom early one morning. She clearly knows something is up with her two daughters, because she starts filming before she even gets to their bedroom.
“After the night I’ve just had…” she says, alluding to the fact that she’s had a challenging evening. Now it’s morning, and as she approaches her girls’ room, her toddler peeks out the door.
From one glance, the mom can tell her daughter is covered in some sort of white substance — it’s all over her hands and face. As she enters the room, her daughter anxiously waits for her to react.
Then the mom looks over at her younger daughter, standing in her crib waiting to be taken out. Her face, crib, and arms are slathered with diaper cream, making her a ghostly mess. The container of diaper cream is open on the floor, with remnants of the cream rubbed on the wood.
The most impressive part about this video, though, is not the toddler’s insistence that she doesn’t know what happened, or the infant’s confused look, but the mom’s calm demeanor.
