One of the best parts about school is picking a day to "play sick" so you can stay home and curl up on the couch while watching a movie or TV.
I didn't get to do this often, as my mom could always tell when I was sick or not, but some days she was nice enough to let it slide.
It seems like not just students do this — teachers need to take "sick days" as well to keep their sanity in check!
Shellie Puckett is a 42-year-old mom and eighth-grade teacher from Kentucky. Recently she faked sick to cut school and head to Today for an "Ambush Makeover."
She was chosen and I have to say she deserves the pampering! She went to college at age 35 to show her kids that it is attainable and important to their lives.
She wanted a makeover because she finally "feels OK with herself" and wanted her appearance to reflect that!
On the show, the professionals get to put their touches on Shellie's style. When her husband and two kids take their blindfolds off to see her, they're blown away. They say she doesn't even look like the same person!
