Mom Races To Hospital After Son Is Trapped In House Fire. 4 Hours After He Dies, She Gives Birth

Losing a child would be tough for any parent, especially a child as young as Carrietta Fryerson's son, DAnthony.

He was only 4 years old when he recently died in a house fire that consumed his grandmother's home. His mother says that she received a devastating text message about the fire before she heard about her son's condition.

She is torn with grief, and says that nothing can replace the child that she lost. But she and her family, despite the difficult time, are taking solace in a new addition to the family.

She rushed to the hospital after getting the news, and two days after the accident, her son died. Then, just four hours later, the pregnant mom gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

Carrietta is now convinced the timing of her daughter's arrival was no coincidence. She believes that after passing away her son made sure his family was OK, and watched over them as his sister arrived.

Now, the family's community is helping them any way they can, with tons of emotional support and gifts. Though DAnthony perished in the flames, his grandmother and siblings all emerged alive.

You can help Carrietta, her husband DeShannon, and their kids by donating to their GoFundMe page, set up in honor of DAnthony.
