Not unlike this Marine who flew thousands of miles to surprise his sister on her wedding day, Grant evidently knows the power of a heartfelt gesture at an important moment.
He also knows that you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
In fact, that's exactly what he told his younger sister Iris, 16, while the two of them were waiting to meet their brand-new niece in the hospital!
In honor of the occasion, Grant decided to rock a dapper suit, making sure his baby niece's first impression of him would be a good one — what a thoughtful uncle!

In early 2017, a young woman named Iris Kessler made waves when she went on Twitter and posted a handsome photo of her big brother, dressed to the nines in the maternity ward at the hospital.
As Iris adorably explains in the caption to her photo, "My sister is about to have a baby and my brother showed up to the hospital in a suit because 'first impressions matter.'"
The internet collectively lost its mind at the cuteness of it all, and Iris' photo became a sensation, with over 250,000 favorites and 79,000 retweets on the social media platform.
Grant may only be 18 years old, but clearly, this young man has a very cultivated and mature sense of etiquette.
Men who grow up with sisters have a healthy natural instinct for treating the women in their life with heaps of respect, and Grant is proof — his little niece isn't even born yet, and he's already showing her how much she matters!
Also, eagle-eyed readers might notice that not only is he wearing a suit and tie, he even added a tie clip!
Of course, shortly after Iris posted the picture of her big brother, Uncle Grant got to meet the new little one in his life for the first time.
Her name is Carter, and she was born January 3, 2017 — one of the first babies of the new year.
When Carter showed up, Iris kept the family's new internet following updated, sharing photos and the caption, "HEY GUYS MEET MY NEW BEST FRIEND HER NAME IS CARTER!!!!"
There are four siblings in the Kessler family, and little Carter is the first member of the next generation.
Grant and Iris have two older sisters, Bronwen, 20, and Olivia, 23.
Little Carter belongs to the oldest Kessler sibling, Olivia.
Clearly, Olivia is never going to be at a loss for babysitters, since all three of her younger siblings look downright thrilled to meet the family's new little bundle of joy!
Iris, pictured above with Carter, told BuzzFeed that, though Carter won't remember the big day, "She’s going to grow up hearing this story so I’m sure she will know that it happened, and think it’s funny.”
The whole family seems absolutely delighted that their personal joy has given the whole world so much happiness.
Big sister Bronwen has been cracking jokes about the family's new fame on Twitter.
After the tweet went viral, she noted, "Olivia has a baby, Iris has Twitter, and Grant has class. But I know the alphabet backwards so who's the real winner of the Kessler siblings?"
Meanwhile, Grant seems absolutely thrilled about the newest young lady in his family.
