As many people get older, they start to settle down — they don't go out as much, they opt for nights in, instead of wild nights out, and they find activities and hobbies that don't involve loud music and crazy dance floors. It's something many older people reminisce about — their party days of the past. While some people never leave the party lifestyle behind, most stop spending their evenings out when they settle into steady jobs and family life. Getting older and changing lifestyles is something everyone has in common, whether the change is going from studious college student to first-time employee, or party girl to first-time mom, we all know what it's like to experience changes in our lives. One young woman, Mahriana Smith, recently had an encounter to which everyone can relate.
Mahriana was out with some of her friends for a girls' night out when they decided to pop into the bathroom to freshen up.
While in the bathroom, an elderly woman approached Mahriana. Mahriana recalls, "This lady in the washroom looking at me said 'I remember when my girlfriends &I would get dressed up & go out I miss that.' So I said why miss it , were [sic] all out right now aren't we? Story short we have a new friends [sic]."
Mahriana and her friends then posed for a selfie with this woman, truly making her part of the group.
Both the elderly woman and the young women seem to be having a great time taking pictures together — and the photos are completely adorable.
People have responded positively to Mahriana's act of kindness toward this woman, saying that it restores their faith in humanity.
