Claudia Sorhaindo had to step out of the house to run an errand for a few minutes. She entrusted her 15-year-old niece to babysit her 2-month-old daughter, Ava. While she was out, the mom received a text message that she found hilarious.
Her niece, J'Ann Sorhaindo, didn't want to leave the baby alone for a single second. The trouble was that her stomach was growling. In order to make a sandwich while keeping the baby in her sight, she carefully stuffed the little one into her pants.
“I had to run out the house for a quick minute, so I asked my niece to babysit baby Ava. A few minutes later I received a text saying that J’Ann wanted to make a sandwich but didn’t want to let baby Ava out of her sight," Claudia shared on Facebook. "Lord send help, this was her solution, like really… creativity at its finest."
Claudia found it hilarious and endearing that her niece was so devoted, even if her methods were a little unconventional. Claudia is especially protective of her baby girl because six years ago, her 3-month-old daughter, Jenelle, passed away when doctors mixed up her medication at the hospital.
“J’Ann knows how protective I am with Ava,” Claudia told Today. “Some might say I’m a little paranoid. I’m always checking to see if she’s breathing, so J’Ann showed me she is making sure she is keeping her eyes on Ava.”
J'Ann hopes to invent special baby-holding pants since coming up with her funny idea. What do you think of this method?
